Lung dissection
This is a video showing a lung dissection.
This 5-minute video shows a teacher from Preston College (UK) inflating sheep lungs.
There is also a brief view of a fully dissected set of lungs that shows the trachea, bronchioles, and individual lobes. This could be shown to a class or used as an instructional guide for a teacher.
Safety alert:
Blowing via a piece of rubber tubing into the lungs with your mouth is not a recommended procedure due to the possibility of inhaling aerosols from the lungs as the air is expelled. It is best practice to use a bicycle pump. In addition, safety glasses should be worn during all dissections.
