This online resource deals with global water scarcity and sustainability.

This ABC Education Digibook contains a collection of media resources on global water scarcity and sustainability in an Australian context.

The resources cover information on water in the environment, the water cycle, sinking a bore and the global use of water.

Students can explore the Murray-Darling Basin and examine their use of water and the lifestyle choices people make surrounding water.

The resource also has links to archived articles.

This online resource would support the implementation of a unit on the water cycle. It also has strong links to the cross-curricular priority of Sustainability.
