Publication Date: January, 2002
Type of Resource: Interactive/Simulation

In this online interactive learning object, students examine mixtures, solvents, solutions and the effects of temperature on solubility and how this affects water quality.

Students examine a range of colloids such as sols, aerosols, gels, foams and emulsions and have opportunities to participate in a variety of activities including a ‘To Do’ hands-on activity nominated in each section.

This resource contains 4 sections that can be done individually or in conjunction with one another. The resource also explores the water cycle and how water is treated.
