This online resource is a guide to building a basic electrical motor or generator.

The resource uses simple equipment and has a series of instructions with photos. 

It should take approximately 45–60 minutes. It is a good curriculum extension when investigating factors that affect the transfer of energy through an electric circuit.

The site works well on iPads.
