Spill Kit: Hi, My school is for Years 7–12. I have a Spill Kit in place at work (stored in the prep room) which is kept in a smaller (i.e., 1/2 size) than standard-size wheelie bin.
Agar plates: I've been asked to make up agar plates with different pH values from 3–11—any information I can find on the net suggests the agar won't set at a low pH. Any ideas?
Laboratory doors: I was wondering if it is a requirement that science room doors be locked when not attended by staff? If so, is this written down anywhere?

Fainting during dissections: I have read your SOPs on dissections. Could you include fainting as one of the hazards of the activity? How should students be prepared for what they are going to do?

Chemical clock practical: My chem teacher would like to do a chemical clock prac with ferric nitrate and sodium thiosulfate, using metal ions as catalysts.
Bunsen Tubing: Could somebody please tell me what the required length for Bunsen tubing is at present and where this is written?
