Answer by labsupport on question Source of porous pots
Answer reviewed 8 February 2023
Porous pots are readily available from a number of suppliers. See our list of “School science suppliers” resource: which is an online spreadsheet of school science suppliers and businesses which provide laboratory equipment, resources, supplies and other merchandise suitable for school science laboratories.1
A quick search has shown the porous pots available from the following suppliers and possibly other general scientific suppliers:
Haines: https://www.haines.com.au/index.php/catalogsearch/result/?q=porous+pot
Modern Teaching Aids: https://www.teaching.com.au/search?action=search&code=&searchtype=&is_suggest=&q=porous+pot
Science Supply Australia: https://www.teaching.com.au/search?action=search&code=&searchtype=&is_suggest=&q=porous+pot

Thanks Teresa, this is great; i gave a session at STAVCON vce earlier this year and talked about this activity, but had to say I did not know where to get the pots! I can email the attendees and let them know.
I'm impressed by ASSIST!
Thanks again
