The linked guide from Geoscience Australia highlights the different types of weathering, erosion and transport that can occur and provides examples of famous landscapes to enhance the understanding of these processes. Woodside Australian Science Project (WASP)
The freely available Woodside Australian Science Project (WASP) materials for Year 8 discuss the formation of the Bungle Bungles and Wave Rock (and some others in Australia), see https://www.wasp.edu.au/mod/page/view.php?id=87.
The Year 8 package explores the following statement from the Australian Curriculum: Science; ‘Sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks contain minerals and are formed by processes that occur within the Earth over a variety of timescales.’ The materials also focus on classification.
