Animal habitats CLE - Year 1

Description: In this investigation, living things that live in particular habitats are investigated in the context of habitats being places that provide many of the needs of living things and so contribute to their survival.

Description: In this investigation, students explore important chemical reactions such as neutralisation and combustion and their application in our world. Students will review the signs that indicate a chemical reaction has taken place and then apply this knowledge to their investigations.

Forms of energy CLE - Year 8

Description: In this investigation, different forms of energy and how they can be transformed from one form to another are investigated through examining the transformations involved in hydroelectricity. Students explore common ‘energy transformation’ devices and recognise that not all energy transformations are useful.
